Still Water

7-8 ice cubes
3 oz Myers's dark rum
12 oz Fresca citrus soda


Special instructions:
The color of the Still Water is close to muddy water, but the flavors of the two ingredients complement each other wonderfully. It's delicious on a hot summer afternoon but has a singular drawback: the sweetness of the Fresca inhibits you from having more than two at one sitting (or perhaps one at two sittings - you decide). Invented by Rob Jones, to my knowledge - at least I came up with it independently.Start with a 16oz glass Add the ice cubes first. Float the ice in 3 oz of Myers's Dark Rum Open the can of Fresca and pour it all at once into the glass, letting it foam. This effervescence from the soda's carbonation serves to mix the rum with the Fresca.
