Empire Glory

1 oz rye whiskey
1/2 oz ginger wine
1/2 oz lemon juice
2 dashes grenadine syrup

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
